It’s been a crazy week around our house this past week. OK, truth is it’s been crazy around here for a while. 😉
The following weekend after Sam’s graduation, we had the opportunity to celebrate our other children at our homeschool group’s annual promotion night.
(And then we did a crazy little thing like putting our house up for sale making it an even crazier week….but more about that later)
We LOVE our local homeschool group and promotion night is such a big deal. They always come up with a theme and this year’s theme was Star Wars.
All the kids get recognized by grade levels with special kudos to our graduating seniors and their parents. It’s just an awesome night to celebrate the year’s accomplishments.
Not only are the kids excited but you might find a few of us moms high-fiving one another that we made it through another year!
First up, our youngest-Daniel, graduated from Kindergarten. I can hardly believe it – the baby is growing up!
(sorry for poor pic quality – these are cropped phone pics)
Next up, Nate is getting ready for middle school – leaving 5th grade behind. I’m not sure how this happened so quickly….middle school!
And lastly, Hannah finished her first year of high school and is moving on to 10th grade.
So just in case you weren’t keeping track, this means I will have an elementary student, a middle schooler, and a high school student next year. One in each age group. How in the world did that happen?
I’m so proud of these three. They’ve learned a lot about working together as a family and being flexible around our hectic schedule this year. We made it and learned a lot in the process!
